Re: West Midlands Safari Park day out

we had a great day Mags. Robert and Raechel went on all the fast scary rides, while Hayley and I did the kiddie rides lol, so everyone was happy. They hadn't been before so it was a great experience for them.

Re: West Midlands Safari Park day out

Wow, never heard of this place!! I spent 2 years in Stourbridge in the 80s, with a lot of time spent toward Stourport, Bewdley etc . . . maybe it wasn't around then? I would love to go (any excuse to revisit my old stomping ground), so must look it up as it looks a brilliant day out

So pleased you had such a super time with your family Alex

Re: West Midlands Safari Park day out

Domimc would love it Yola, and they also have new section called cub kingdom which has rides for Sebastians age! We're hoping to go back next year and do the extra safari bus which if you pay an extra £3.50 per person they will take you round the park in their own bus and drive up a lot closer to the animals so you can see them properly, they then take you back to the car park to collect your own car and you can then drive round the reserves at your own pace on the roads. You can also buy boxes of special food to feed the giraffes, camels etc. I guarantee Dom would love it!!

Re: West Midlands Safari Park day out

lol, if I'd known it was only about 5 mins from your house I would have said too Erin!! Didn't realise it was quite so near to me tbh. it only took us 45 mins on the coach, so I reckon 30 mins by car. I'll need to pop round to yours for a coffee at some point Erin lol!!
