Re: Operation catch a cat is go!!!!

Random I am 100% sure he is, no collar, not neutered, VERY thin, and sleeping in my willow tree for the last three nights. However I am going to take him to the vets to be scanned for a chip, if he has no chip then I have a new owner lined up for him.

Re: Operation catch a cat is go!!!!

Well I am sort of hoping Mags that he isn't chipped as the person who wants him is a "known" and I know he will go to a very good home, otherwise I presume I will be leaving him at the vets if he is microchipped but I will leave my details just incase his previous owners can't be located or don't want him.

Just been down to check on him and give him some water, gave him one of those tins of solitaire food which he woofed down, he ate some nuts (biscuits to all other non Essex people ), and drank more of his Whiskers Milk (boy does he like that) I managed to get the crate door open without him trying to escape, he was very good!! put the food down, gave him a quick stroke and then closed the door.

Well me and the potential new owner thinks he could be a Russian Blue, but I am not sure about the differences on colouring etc, he has got the most amazing eyes!!

Maybe if you cover the crate, he'll feel more safe?

Glad you caught him! He's too sweet and handsome to rough it for too long.

Re: Operation catch a cat is go!!!!

Hreow he seems to be quite happy in the crate now and the shed is fairly dark, I thought about putting a sheet over it, perhaps I will tomorrow if he comes back with me from the vets. Last time I looked on him he was purring and rolling around in the crate, I think he thinks he is now in kitty heaven!!! lol

What a transformation in just a couple of days from a cat who was very elusive and very frightened to one which when he came into the garden today was sitting down on my garden chair doing the blinkie eyes at me and rolling around on the chair when I got closer.

He really does look so much better in real life and in these photos as compared to a couple of days ago. He is still very hungry though
