Finally managed to get a PC to work long enough to upload some pictures . . .
Here's the paving by the back door, with Darcy in attendance (and Fifi asleep on the toolbox inside the door). 'Scuse the mess as hubby's yet to clear all his tools n stuff away. We have left little spaces where we'll drop in low level plants to break up the expanse of hard surface . . . you can see one of these is going to be where the plant pot is stood . . .
This pic is taken looking towards the end of the garden from the house. The brick areas break up the greyness of the slabs really nicely - I'm well pleased with them! We will probably be adding one further row of bricks to the little retaining walls as I want bulkhead lighting along the wall (the garden's very dark in winter and is our main route into the house). Balie can be see 'butterfly hunting' towards the end of the garden
And this is the garden from the gate end.The paving will look much more 'finished' once grouted . . . I think that will be happening over this coming weekend. And Balie is STILL looking furtive
