Thanks all, I'll take great pleasure in passing on your get well tickles to Poshie.
Miki I think our Brit vets prefer to do the flank for the op as its easier to access the necessary bits. I was warned that her fur colour may change to a darker shade as it grows back but I don't mind that.We don't intend to show her or anything, except to show her off of course

Vets in the US seem to prefer the tummy, although it has been 8 years since Leia was spayed; possibly it might be different now.......
