As the volcano is still spewing out ash it doesn't look as if things will be improving soon. Short term problem: air cargo flights with fresh produce won't be coming, so shortages at the markets soon for some items; long term problem: climate change due to vulcanic activity! I was debating earlier which is worse, having to have your holiday cancelled this end, or being stuck out wherever for longer than you expected. Bf says oh being stuck in spain... longer holiday etc but I think how frustrating as your poor Mum does, sometimes you just want to get home. Its very sad for people missing honeymoons, family weddings etc. But yes, it does make you realise we can do a lot of things but we cannot control Nature! Jan x |
