She is home!! and being as naughty as ever She has eaten and has stuck herself to my person purring madly. They couldn't do all the swabs they wanted as some of the special ones did not arrive in their post this morning as promised They did a skull x-ray which reveals damage to her nasal passages because of the recurrent infections, a nasal wash out and some swabs of her throat and eyes. The vet has said when the other swabs do arrive she will try and do them whilst Porsha is awake as they are reluctant to put her back under anaethetic at the moment. She has to have 1 drop of Metacam daily for the time being but they are keeping her off antibiotics until all the swabs are done Thank you all for your kind wishes....I am so relieved that she is home with me |

Fran: excellent news about Porsha! Knew you were so worried... Stll mild here, 56F, sunny in the morning, clouded over now with rain predicted tomorrow. At least it's not going to be snow! A few roses still blooming despite the frost. have a small bud vase beside the computer...not exactly Christmassy, but cheerful. Put out the wreath, and red bows on the fencing today; one more thing done! Onyx the same...there at lunch and not now; but the dry food is disappearing, so assume she's coming later...? Hope everyone's feling better who was poorly; have a nice evening, all! |
