We have that show here too, never watched it. I wondered about the water, could you melt and boil snow?

No water yet - the spring is a spectacular ice sculpture. Went back to work yesterday and it was a real novelty having running hot water and flushing loos!!

At least we have had no power down during this whole cold spell.

Glad you've had no power loss - a friend of mine was out for about 2 days. Lives about 10 miles from me, but quite a bit higher up.

I never thought - I'll go up at the weekend - it is about a mile from the farm so depends on snow drifts etc.
