Is there any way you could get hold of some curved scissors? I use my work ones for cutting my little dogs hair and there's much less risk of cutting the skin, especially as the ends are blunt. |

Also try cutting down into the matted bit. That may help tease out some of the coat and make taking it off a bit easier. Rub some baby oil in too and this might make it even easier. CM |

Finally got to cut the matted hair away as she was sitting looking out the window, it was uncomfortable for her as she squirmed a few times but finally got rid of it. |
