Hi guys. Thanks.

It looks like a wasp has stung him. Seemingly Ceilidh saw him "playing" with one. She only told me after I had been to the Vet .
His mouth is very swollen and sore. He's asleep at the moment. I'm sure he is going to be fine.
I did get a heck of a fright

Scary, isn't it, Jac! Both Su-ling and Sultan got wasp stings and it was frightening how their faces swelled! But it had gone down by morning...oh, and they both managed to eat OK even with their sore faces.....chow hounds, both of them. Hope the wee fellow will be fine.......

You will! The first time it happened I called my vet in a right state, he asked a few questions, mainly to see if he were going into anaphylactic shock, and then just told me to calm down, he didn't need to be seen! So when Sultan did the same thing, I didn't panic at all...been there, done that.......

My vet nurse told me to get some antihistamines and if it ever happened again give them half at this age and one when fully grown.
He cant keep his eyes open, bless
