You were not rude or ignorant at all MrsH, Orientals are not as well known as Siamese, there are lots of people who have not heard of the breed let alone realise that they are the same breed as Siamese and can be born in the same litter

Mrs H join me in the thickness stakes, I thought that Oriental was a "type" like you that lumped together Siamese, Burmese etc. But its no good being shy of being thick - SHOUT it from the rooftops like me.

Congratulations to the new mum! What lovely babies! I did know about Orientals. only because my breeder friends had them as well as Siamese; beautiful animals both!

Awww.... big congratulations Fran, to you and Bliss!! They are stunning little kittens and beautiful colours.

I'm afraid I am another one to hold her head in shame as I didn't know the difference between Orientals and Siamese either! Thank you for explaining it Fran!

So sorry one of the babies didn't make it but Bliss's remaining kittens look healthy and strong. Looking forward to regular updates on these babies!!
