Thank-you all, I just can't get Mandy, Matthews, mum out of my mind. I rang her this evening, but she is just too distressed to talk, understandably. A pm has been done, but inconclusive, so more tests will have to be carried out. |

What terrible news and what a trauma for his mum. My thoughts are with you and your friend & her family. I have two God children, but can only barely imagine how devastated this family must be. As a doctor working with children I have attended many child funerals and every one is as distressing as all the ones before. |

Just an update on this, the microbiology tests showed that Matt died from a viral infection, apparently, while he was asleep his lungs filled with blood and he simply stopped breathing. I am going to his funeral on friday and then to his memorial service on Sunday. This is an article in the local paper. http://www.getreading.co.uk/news/s/2...ough_his_music |

I can't find the right words to put here Kim. A terrible tragedy. I hope that all his family and friends can be strong enough to give him a fitting memorial. |
