we are now putting him straight into the bathroom when he starts meowing, we have 2 trays in there with different types of litter but he is still at the moment finding a corner to wee in. We have also used the wood pellets to soak up his wee and put it in the tray to try encourage him to use it. |

Sounds to me like the poor wee mite is a tad stressed. I was was also going to suggest the same as MrsH. I'd also try some rescue remedy, a few drops on your fingers and rub gently into his ear tips, also a feliway diffuser can often help to settle them. It's a big deal for cats to be moved from place to place, try to close off as much of the house as possible and open the different rooms up to him gradually. I'm sure you are not but just incase, please dont ever punnish him or shout at him for his accidents as this will only make things worse. Hope he settles in very soon. xxx |

we have a litter trining result!!! Harris has decided that he likes the soil and where we have put his litter trays. Last night and this morn he has wee'd in the soil trays (both of them) and he also did his other business in it aswell. Treats all round for him today!! Thanx everyone for the advice. It has been really helpful. Fingers crossed we are now starting to turn the corner with him. I might aswell add that he is now also using his scratch post which we were also having problem with. He is also more affectionate now since hes started realising that he is a good boy using his tray |
