I agree with you Donna, I cannot believe that two parents would leave their children unattended whilst they went out for a meal in a foreign country

However that side, I really do hope that she comes home safe and sound.

Re: For Madeleine

I have a little boy Maddy's age as some of you may know, I cannot even imagine any reason why I would ever leave him alone, it was a very irresponsible thing to do but no doubt they are paying ten fold for it now. No-one deserves this, I hope she is found safe and well, what a nightmare for such an innocent little girl.

Re: For Madeleine

I hope Madeleine is found safe and well. Her parents and siblings must be having an awful time. Lets hope they can all be reunited.

It is sad to discover that her parents had left her and her siblings in bed, while they dined. They wouldnt have gone out for a meal and left the kids at home in this country, so why would they do such a thing in a foreign country?!

Re: For Madeleine

I expect we have all done things we have regretted and Maddy's parents are paying the worse possible price. They need support and no parents deserve to go through this hell.

Thanks for starting this thread Carly. I have kept Maddy in my thoughts and prayers since she disappeared, and hope she returns soon. I also think of all the other missing children in this world who parents are going through a similar nightmare, but who are not fortunate to have the media interest that this case does.

Re: For Madeleine

from what I read it seems they were still on the complex and checking on them every half hour they were in sight of the apartment the whole time... I no its no excuse but I must admit when on holiday you tend to be more relaxed and do things you dont normally do. Its like going next door to you neighbours for a cuppa when the kids are in bed.....something I have done myself.... you dont expect someone to come in and steal your child from a locked room....
