Poor boy! Sorry to hear about the food, it's possible that it was done to try and increase his fluid intake but if you specifically told them he didn't like wet food, he should have been offered it when he didn't eat.

I've just spoken to the vet and he's a lot brighter today and responsive.

She wants to do the de-poo op tomorrow and keep him in on fluids until Friday

I'll also have a practical hands on lesson on how to give him fluids - aargh!

Elaine - thanks for all your help so far, I'm sure I'll be pestering you a bit more! Vet is going to look into Miralex to see if that will be suitable.

The fluids really will help him CS, I know its worrying and upsetting when they are away from home. Hope he isnt too stressed.
Dont pannick about the Sub-q's, you'll do just fine. Remember to remain calm, take a deep breath and take your time. I know you can do it chum. xxx

He's had the procedure to depoo him today and he's staying in on fluids. His urea and creatine levels are still not in the normal range so they are going to assess him in the morning to see if he can home
