Re: Some random mutterings

I'm a great believer in the philosophy that you go to hospital to be told what's wrong, be given the meds, then go home to get better, 'cause you get no rest on a hospital ward! People poking you all night long, sticking things where they shouldn't go , and trying to make you ill with horrid food. I'm sure Caroline will be taking wonderful care of you x

Oddly enough, lynz, I was very appreehensive about the colonoscopy, but I was under (GA), so nothung felt and wasn't sore or anything afterwards, sueprisingly! The worst part was drinking that gallon of nasry stuff the night before!!

Sounds awful Eileen, you poor thing. Have had several hospital stays and they're no fun
At least when you go in for your op you can plan and take things in with you.
Sorry about the double post, one of those days

I think subconciously I must have suspected I might be admitted, as I put my Kindle and charger in my tote bag......... thank God! After a few days Christopher brought my newspqapers, magazines and mail, so I had something to read also besides the books on the Kindle, what a great device that is!

Re: Some random mutterings

Hospital and I are good friends; had several lenghty stays over the years and apart from the 2-weeker in Harrogate which was not too bad (or I was too poorly to notice); each stay was awful in terms of food and night time noise levels.
