Eileen go into a computer shop and ask a person there I think you will be fine honest. I am sure you can use them with Mac's....go buy one honest saving your pictures alone to it will be peace of mind.
And you have more storage space. Like adding another couple of cupboards to your kitchen.

Thanks; I suppose there are some computer stores around, but I'm so used to buying everything on line .... may go on a Mac line and ask dumb questions there!
