Its already raining here, agree its good for the garden but off putting for gardeners. But it does need it glad I did a bit on Tuesday....feeling clever now.

I think I may need a new matress.......may rearrange the little bedroom/office and the bedroom too.....not sure.
I hope all goes well with your hospital appointment Kazz.

Enjoy the film later!

Re: Frivolous Friday

Hello everyone! What a wet morning - actually, I am quite glad that the promised rain has finally arrived. The garden, especially the runner bean trench really needs it. Doesn't look too promising weather-wise for the weekend sadly.

I do hope you enjoy your new bed PP! OH and I keep promising ourselves one, but haven't got around to it yet. Our current one is a divan, but I don't have anything in the drawers as they kept collapsing - when I cleared mine out I found some mouse droppings in one!

OH had a very positive experience selling a couple of items on eBay last week, so he's rummaging about looking for more stuff to auction! Can anyone tell me why a "retired" man and a "retired" woman are so different?

Anyway, must finish off some transcription today - not a huge amount.

Will "pop in" later. Have a good day all - try and keep dry if you can!

Re: Frivolous Friday

Think I've only ever seen a May bug once. I knew that it's the same as a Cockchafer - but is it also the same as a June bug???

We have the green ones that appear as #5 in that link, here they
are called Junebugs! Haven't seen one yet; noisy little devils!

Re: Frivolous Friday

We had the rain last night, we were on the fringe of the storm which passed mostly South of the City, but we did get over an inch of rain and the drought is officially over! Been a very rainy May. Cloudy now, 22C, with more rain this afternoon....

No news here, just a market run and some pic taking in the garden...have a mystery rose which I'll post about after lunch! Thank you all for the birthday wishes; have no special plans for the day.

Hope the sun will shine on everyone's weekend!
