I also have a springer x border collie and I know a lot of springers too, i'd say your average Weimaraner is as energetic as a box full of springers!!!!!! No seriously they are very energetic and they do need a lot of excercise and mental stimulation, if not they will most definately cause a lot of havoc, lol, but if you can handle 2 springers you are well on the way!!! Just make sure you do some research and find a good breeder as a badly bred one would be a nightmare for you as it tends to be the temperament that suffers first in weimys. Feel free to PM me about them I could talk all day, lol! |

Your cousin is very talented! I have 2 springers and 2 cavalier king charles (yappy ones at that) So might have to wait a good few years for a weimy, especially if they are like a box full of springers!! One of my boys harvey is really calm, but the latest one spike that we rescued is a bit scatty! and strong willed, he has already broken 2 teeth trying to get the ball before harvey and they had a head on collision! he has cost me over £400 at the vet in the 6 weeks that we have had him! He is calming down a bit now though! |
