I always teased my OH about him liking a certain brand of tomato ketchup, until I heard somewhere that it is actually good for you - something about anti-cancer properties. So perhaps cats know something good for them is in tomatoes!!???

That really is very funny and made me giggle, thanks for that. It's a eonder you haven't found beans everywhere that have been flicked around the kitchen in the process. What did you end up having instead by the way??

Cats enjoy tomato so much - sardines, pilchards, baked beans - it's a wonder some enterprising manufacturer doesn't make a food with a tomato sauce.
Yes - I threw the bare beans away, washed the pan and we had the second half of the can.
There have bean no ill-effects on Bentley
