Happy Birthday Sebastian! My two went back to school today - Sean doing his last year, and now one of the oldest lot in the school!!! He is happy and settled now and was looking forward to going back!! Emma now a year nine so will be chosing her options at the end of this year. Makes me feel so old!! |

I've been the other side of the coin from several of you today, welcoming new pupils to our school. We are in a large comprehensive school and it's really lovely seeing our older pupils helping the younger ones out, showing them where they have to go etc. (a few mums were a bit reluctant to say goodbye though!) Watching our older pupils assume responsibility for the new ones is very heart-warming, I'm just beginning to realise I'm going to miss all this next year! A good day was had by all. |
