Well home from work just had spag-bol, gorgeous, office party went well too. Everyone seems good, I am glad people are becoming mobile again. Mrs H there seems to be something dogs and cooking I have Sal's undivided attention when baking too. |

Good evening all  Slightly warmer today so I dug the driveway out and with help from my Son-I-L, turned the car around ready for the off tomorrow. Fed up of this snow now, would like it to go back to being just on the Christmas cards please  Liz, thank goodness you recognised the doggie, was he lost or had run off from his owner? May try a bit of baking tomorrow too, love the smell of Christmas spices  Have a good one all. |

Evening; yes the sinusitis is better now - not completely gone as I can't taste or smell anything (and as I'm chief litter-tray emptier that's got to be a good thing). On the downside we have the remains of the pheasant carcasses coooking into a veg soup and OH tells me it has permeated the house nicely - that I'd like to smell. Today I ventured out to Pangbourne to shop for pretty gifts the like of which they tend not to have in the stores in homogeneous Reading. Found some nice bits for my MIL and my brother. Then for a final food shop to Waitrose to get our Christmas Day gammon. Our main PC at home is kaput which worries me as I have ALL the childrens' pics on there from when they were babies (and before - ultrasound scans also), OH is going to get up early to try and reboot the thing as it's caught in some kind of loop and won't start properly. Tomorrow I have a play date with my youngest and then have to pop to the office after lunch to get some of my work 'handed back over' as 2 of the girls there have been sitting it for me. Right - after that essay I'm off to bed. See youse tomorrow |
