Plus co's merlin has such a thick dense coat, if he has the runs, I usually have to clean his back end.

I do try to hold my breath...They have one of those enclosed litter trays with the swing door, I am sure they pong a lot worse than the open ones...Maybe I just have smelly cats..Thankfully if the weathers nice and the door is open they all go outside..

Not posh PK, my utilityroom is small so had to have a covered tray as it can be seen...
