I tried to do it really slowly at first, with scent swapping and swapping their litter trays etc and only quick sights of each other without actually meeting face to face, but Red has been quite nervous and isn't very well socialised, so at the weekend I just decided to leave all the doors open whilst I was at home and let them get on with it (while I supervised). There was a bit of hissing and growling and Abi swiped for Red but I think that they are starting to work out their pecking order now and Red knows that he's at the bottom We're getting there!!! Hopefully they'll soon be snuggled up together. Good luck with your intros. |

Cheers Charlie - I guess I'm being really impatient then, it's only been 4 days! She is now wanting to play with Bubs and is getting hissed at for her efforts, but nothing worse so I guess that's something! Des is worrying his Mummy by hardly showing up at all, but miraculously appeared when a tin of tuna was banged with a fork! Just have to give it time I guess! |
