Have phoned the vets a couple of times and Sal has been reported as perkier at 9am and very much perkier at 1pm she has though refused food but that not I do not find odd as she will not eat from anyone but us. Not accepting food even from my SIL who she has known since she was 10 months old. Not trained that way she just is. But will eat it if I say its okay.....weird dog. But this time would be happy she ate something and kept it down. She has been on drips and antibiotics since she was admitted last night so loads of fluids. GOOD. The vet said we have a couple of options, come and take her home and see how she is if she eats and keeps it down, and see how she goes. And return if neccesary. Have her xrayed. Leave her in there, see how she goes (not an option now she is perkier). I am going to fetch her home and see how she goes. Will ask about her bloods she has antibiotics, and have a few other questions. I think she will do better being home. The thing is I would not do anything if she was seriously ill with something life threatening I would just do pallative care anyhow make sure she is comfortable not in pain discomfort and enjoying life. I would not put her through a big op or any radio/chemo. So good news will update later if I get a chance before I go to work. Thank you all very much for your best wishes. Means a lot. |
