He's slept a lot Eileen, but i've just had to take him a short walk as he won't go in the garden. I put a plastic bag over the bandage which freaked him out even more. He appears quite frightened by the bandage realy.

Awww, this is all so new and scary; he's only a very young one, really, and doesn't understand the hurting paw .....

we took the dogs for an off lead run to the river and somehow he managed to slice on of his pads. He didn't react at the time it was when we got home that we noticed him licking his paw. We took him to the emergency vet because he was crying so much. Apparently the cut wasn't too deep and he had it cleaned and bandaged. We were very glad the vets were open but the price was horrendous.
He's quite whingey today and still franticaly scratching with his paws to get the bandage off. At the moment he is settled and sleeping beside me on the settee.
It doesn't help that Malaika keeps winding him up and also tries to chew on the bandage.

Poor boy. Wish they'd both leave the bandage alone!!!

took Kwame back to the vets today, his paw is still quite raw but clean. The advice is to leave the bandage off now and just cover the wound when we take him out. He's got more AB's. At the moment he won't put the paw on the ground and is feeling very sorry for himself.

Awwwwww. Gorgeous wee boy. Sorry to hear the paw is still bothering the little lad. Glad he's got rid of that nasty bandage now though.

Lovely pics, he certainly gets in some odd positions .... almost cat-like. Glad the would is clean.
