When he had his injections antiflamitry,anibotic and one for pain should they have started working already. Guinness has just got out of the litter tray after 7 mins without doing anything he was hissing and growling at everybody. Do you thimk i should wait or phone the vets up i just dont know what to do.

It wouldn't hurt just to phone the vets for advice Kado...think they would be the best people to answer these questions given that Guinness sounds quite upset and possibly in discomfort

Chloe had cystitus a few months back. It did take a while for the injections to start work and then I had a weeks worth of antibiotic and anti inflamatory to give her.

But I dont think she was as bad as Guinness and she never got irritable with it. Just a bit confused when on the litter tray as nothing happened!!

Guinness had a comftertable night he's had something to eat and has been in the litter tray. Taken him back to the vets at 2.15. All the other cats know there's something wrong there very quiet and they are leaving him alone.
