So, I employed my younger sister to come round and do my ironing for me!! I pay her £5 an hour and she comes round twice a week and does all my ironing (and OH's of course). She likes it as it gives her a bit of independence and a bit of money (she's 13 today doesn't get pocket money - none of us did [ have to earn money etc etc]), she's fairly good at it and I don't have to do it! Yippee!! I've had two months of not ironing so far and I love it. Child labour is great - I just wish my brothers were good at something!!

Re: Daily Shred Thread ~ Wednesday

Afternoon everyone,

Busy day at work again (fair few comments about the BBC1 programme about Estate AGents today - did anyone see?). Well needless to say, the programme made me angry and stressed as it tars all Estate Agents with the same brush and it just isnt true.

Anyway, kids have just gone off to their dads for the evening so I have a quiet empty house to myself (except kits and buns). Giving Chloe lots of attention as when I got home this afternoon I found I had accidently shut her in the living room poor thing!

Yola - hope all is ok.
CJ - hope your son improves soon
Julie and Sweet - ditto with the ironing!!!

Re: Daily Shred Thread ~ Wednesday

Hi everybody,

Having an odd day today, new servers being put in at work, so we went down the cafe for a long lunch, came back did a tiny bit of work and decided to leave early to drop back some records to a client who has a shop in the next village to where I live, however is is closed on a Wednesday at 1pm!! lol so I am going to try tomorrow.

I was going to do some exercise on the bike today but I am having fun doing some housework I have got Meatloaf playing at a rather loud volume (luckily for my neighbours I am detached) so I am singing and dancing whilst clearing up!!! lol Oh I love meatloaf!!! hahahahahaha better exercise than the bike today

Donna - my boss saw that program and was talking about it

Yola - I hope things brighten up for you - if you want to chat you know where I am

You and my boyfriend both

Although, if it makes you feel any better, I accidentally set fire to the small kitchen (on the top floor; we have a big one on the ground floor) a few months ago!

Edit: Whilst cooking
