Re: Tabitha put to sleep

Hi there, so sorry to hear about Tabitha. Like a lot of the members here I too have experienced loss. This forum is great for help and support and just letting you come to terms with the loss the way you feel is right for you. Pictures and a tribute is a lovely idea and will be helpful for you to talk about it too.

((hugs))

Very sorry to hear about Tabitha. It is so hard when you have to make that last very hard decision for them, but it does get easier (I know it doesn't feel like it at the moment)

I would love to see a picture of her.

Re: Tabitha put to sleep

Hi, sorry you have lost your beloved girl; it's never easy. I too have been thru it like most of the other members here and it is so raw and hurting now for you. Believe me, the pain will ease in time and you can remember the good times with smiles. You gave her the last act of love, freedom from pain and suffering. Please feel free to post as much as you feel like; the response I got here when my dear Patches died was a great comfort to me. Take care, (((hugs))))

I am so sorry too. I have not lost a pet, but it is what I dread the most and know it will come one day. I hope the forum helps you copy with your loss x

Re: Tabitha put to sleep

Welcome to the forum. I am so sorry that it is at such a distressing time for you. As other members have already said, many of us can identify with how you feel right now. Tabitha was obviously greatly loved and your devotion never waivered. It took me years to look at my beloved tabby girl's photographs without pain (and quite a few tears ... men are not supposed to weep, but we do). I found that when I could, sharing memories with those who knew her and describing her to those who did not, really helped.
