Why don't you contact another small sanctuary and ask them if they would mind discussing ins and outs with you. I say small because the biggies like redwings etc would be maybe too large for what you have in mind. http://www.cottontails-rescue.org.uk/ http://www.mossburn.org/ These are two I've heard of and I think they are quite small. I obviously have only been a site member for a short time but have always felt you respond to people quite sensibly and sympathetically. You obviously have a big heart and if you think you could cope with other unwanted/rescues then why not - you go for it. CM |
