Yes, happy to wait a few. Quite nervous about moving Martha - would love some chicks. Just hope I don't put her off. I have lots of books on hen keeping. It is surprising how little information there is on broody hens. In the hatching and chicks chapters there is very little on using a real hen and pages on using an incubator. Just shows how far we have taken egg production - now our hens rarely sit, usually only the old traditional breeds. |
