Oh Yola... Big hugs to you. The first time Random decided to tell me (because it was bedtime but he didn't want to go ) that "Me no love you!" I cried like a child once I'd gotten him into bed! I just got back from shopping, came in with a metric carload of catfood, treats and a bunch of mice (cause, you know, we're not drowning in the bleeding things or anything ) and decided it was time for the big kitty clean (washing all the cat bowls and the placemats) and as soon as I was done Sweep jumped off his bed in the buggy and started yowling for food The good news is, I got him some Whiskas kitten dry food and he loves it Let's hope that'll feed him up some - he could do with it! Edit: Jac, we've got everything crossed for you here |

Just back from my GP. Good news, it's not just in my head (thinking of fostering a few of Jac's voices there to fill the void, though, if she'll let me), it's not early senility. Just a simple post-viral fatigue syndrome. She prescribed working only half-time, cutting down on my walking, doing no fitmess-training or other strenuous exercise and getting plenty of sunlight. And after we'd both stopped laughing, I've promised to do less, not walk eight miles a day, not do more at work than I am at the moment and pounce on any and all sunlight that manages to break through the usual Scottish clouds. Rover won't be best pleased that his lunch-time walks are cancelled. : / Hopefully with that and a low GI diet (have to look into that now), I won't feel dog tired all the time, and will get some of my thinking-capabilities back. You have been warned... |

Best of luck, Hreow - fingers are crossed here. I've got chronic pain issues that keep me from sleeping properly and am almost always tired, it's a complete drag so it'd be great if you could solve it! And, you know, if Rover tuckers you out I'm always willing to give him a temporary home... |

Constant pain that keeps you awake is... exhausting. I tried that with my lower-back hernias. I prefer this - at least I get to sleep. Mags - we've had great weather for the past weeks, so neither Rover nor I can complain at the moment. That's probably the end of it until April, though. |
