No there is no treatment really for croup unless she has a secondary bacterial infection which could make her sick but the constant coughing associated with croup could also make her sick. A doctor would be able to decide if treatment was neccesary. She sounds one poorly little girl

Re: Really not

I hope you're feeling better soon. There's nothing worse than being ill and looking after little ones; especially if they themselves are unwell.

Lots of vitamins and ecchinacea needed!!

Re: Really not

Oh thank you all!!

Last night wasnt the best. The wee one slept in our bed last night or should I say coughed(from 11-3am) had her back and forward to the bathroom sitting her in steam. she's not coughing anything up, so I wont bother the Doc. Dont think I can do anymore than get her to breath in steam, calpol and snuffle babe ( a bit like viccs only milder)
Hubby has had a flu type of thing all week. After being kicked, coughed at and hanging off the bed for most part of last night my back is killing me LOL How come little people need so much room in a bed????
The weather here isnt that great today but I'm going to do very little anyway.
