Another of Kazz's simple questions!  Several answers and I'll probably think of more as I post. The Sahara! - fabulous, different, mysterious, huge, empty etc Quebec - seemed to have all the good bits of its components - North America/France - and not so much of the not-so-attractive Ipsilometapo - tiny village in the hills on the island of Lesbos. We met Greek Americans from New England whose origins were there and they took us to 'their' old house. From baking brilliant narrow street, through huge wooden doors into a cool airy courtyard shaded with a mulberry tree Santorini - a restaurant overlooking the water/new volcanos etc. Probably my most expensive lunch ever! My bed The elephant orphanage at Pennewale, Sri Lanka The beach at Studland My allotment mmm, can't do just one. Might be able to narrow it down to 10 or so!  |
