Been into town this morning and bought some xmas cards. Just gonna og put the beef stew on ready for when the kids ocme home.

It's very cold and thick fog. I was surprised how many idiots there were driving round in the thick fog with no bloomin' lights on

At last the gloom has lifted and there is a little blue sky - but no sun today, sadly. Don't like the forecast for Friday - biting North winds, snow and 'feels-like' temp of -4C. eek!

I've got real silk underthings that fit from throat to wrist to ankle - fab for rugby when you want to be 'smart' (at a 'do' after) and warm for the match. Wear them under a trouser suit and thin wool jumper, camel coat on top, scarf, sheepskin hat and gloves, boots - sorted! ......................but maybe that is too much information

I wear several t-shirts a pair of tights, pair of socks a nice wooly jumper and a pair of trouser's/jeans and a nice fleece jacket. If it's really cold I wear a pair of leggings under my jeans

Got a hat which everyone call's my 'flower-plot' but I get the last laff cos I'm warm!!!!

It's a cool day here. The last of the renovations should be wrapping up today and tomorrow and none too soon as our Thanksgiving is Thursday and I am cooking the traditional dinner and hosting it at my house.

Hope everyone is keeping warm in the cold and damp. :love:
