Evening all... been quite a day here. We thought Oliver, one of our refugees was going home today. He's been having problems adjusting to us and a houseful of cats. The young
lady (and I use the term politely) who has been sooo eager to have him back dropped a brick on Oliver and us this afternoon.
Quote:
"Oh, if I take him back I'm going to sign him over to a shelter anyhow. Maybe you could just do that for me?"

Un- freakin'- believable!!!
No thought whatever that such a move means they'll put him down. Shelters here are just so damn overloaded that they can't keep hard to adopts. Stupid, self-centered (word that sounds like beach)!!!!
No Way Oliver is getting discarded.... period!!! He's staying here and we will work with him in hopes of either adjusting him or finding him a home where he can be an only cat. Poor little guy deserves a shot at a good, loving life.
Now I gotta go get a bit of rest, loading at 4am for Livonia Michigan again. See you folks. Bye
