Re: Inverted Fencing complete.

Well, Scooter DEFINATELY cannot get out and he defianately cant get back in when he goes round the other way! He has learned in just a day to come back to the front door, clever puss! I watched him last night try 3 different places to climb out but he couldnt, as he climbed the fence he reached the wire and couldnt get any further, he reaches it with his head if you know what I mean. Here are a couple of pics, it was dead easy to do, just make brackets for the wire to be fixed on, I did 10 inches deep (down the fence) by 8 inches (for the wire to sit on) then overhung the wire a further 2 inches, so should anything touch the edge it gives. I tacked the wire along the fence top and that was it!
Dawn.

The brackets had to be shorter on the top pic fence because of the arris rail.

Re: Inverted Fencing complete.

Brill idea Dawn...might try something like this myself but would have to look to higher fences and actually add fences in places where there are just walls..

Re: Inverted Fencing complete.

Quite straightforward then and not too hard to do at all, I would not think.

And I imagine it blends in well too hardly noticable. Good thinking Dawn.
