Re: leo Update!

This is sad for you and Leo. Hope he recovers without any undue side effects. Tis a worry when they go out isnt it?

Poor Leo, seems it was worse than you first thought Moli. Good thing you had the vet check him over. Hope he recovers soon before any abcesses occur (((((hugs)))))

Re: leo Update!

Poor Leo!

It's a brave fox that'll take on a full-grown healthy cat - guess it doesn't really matter who/what did it as long as he gets better - hopefully he'll be put off where the injuries happened so it doesn't happen again.

My Snowy had a nasty and very deep abcess on her back leg - the vet wanted to operate. But I asked if he could try draining it with a syringe first and that, with antibiotics, really did do the trick. Hopefully Leo's lump won't turn into an abcess, but do check options with your vet if he needs to go back. Fingers crossed that he's better soon.

Re: leo Update!

Just been to vet, Leo's much better he has had his second jab, has to go back tomorrow for another jab....The vet thinks it was stoat or a weasel, the only way into my garden is under a big gate at the back, there is a small space under it, not big enough for a cat, so had to be something small, our neighbours ducks and chickens have been getting killed this past week

My only prob now is Leo wants out, and he is not allowed..He is not happy using a litter tray!!

Re: leo Update!

Glad he's better.
Weasel/stoat - hmm, I guess so, but wonder why? Did it mistake him for a rabbit?
