Re: Daily Shred Thread / Monday..

Called the doc and got a big fat shrug and a 'take him to casualty'. Bollo to that!!!

Called the school back and they said he was happy as larry and back to normal apart from the bump and they felt hospital was a bit extreme. So I will pick him up early (3.15) which is normal school closing time rather than sending him to after school care and collecting him at 5.45. A good compromise but I'm not best pleased with the doc

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Monday..

Glad Domi is not too badly injured. I had a call from school today.. was Sean. He been getting really upset/tearful/depressed again and he couldnt cope at school. He always seems more like this after spending weekend at his dads. Dont know what to do. He wont see a councellor, but I think I am gonna make him..

He just cant cope. Shall I force him to see a councellor? Or does that defeat the object? Does he have to want to see a councellor to be in the right frame of mind to get any benefit from it? My doctor doesnt want to be bothered with this sort of problem. Might have to pay for a private consultation, but havent a clue as to cost....
