Mine venture out for short visits to the garden together, but rarely stay out for more than ten minutes. But if I am out there they think I will protect them from the big nasty cat!! They will stay out all day if I was there I am sure!!! |

Living in the City on a very busy street, I've leash-trained several of my cats...use a harness rather than a collar (they can easily slip out of a collar)My Aby took to it at once & strode majestically around...one of my neighbors used to call him the Emperor of Benton Street...dogs didn't faze him; Patches enjoyed walking also, but dogs spooked her; Misty's idea of a nice walk was all the way to the end of the driveway where she could lie down in the sun Have never tried to walk Leia, she's really spooky about strangers & noise. Have a sort of sad story about Misty actually walking around the neighborhood after Sultan, the Aby died...she was trying to find him He had to be put to sleep at the vets & I made the mistake of not bringing him back in the house so she could see before I buried him in the garden |
