Re: Can I have a rant please

Oh Elaine. I don't know what you can do really, I just hope Tia does go to a good home, and that she either doesn't get another cat, or that if she does, more thought is put into it.

Re: Can I have a rant please

Tia's weight is of great concern in my opinion. Friend has said she has been cutting her food down which also concerns me coz if its wrongly managed it can be just as dangerous for her.
Spoke to friend tonight and after a little bit of ranting back and forth we got down to brass tacks. I have said she would be better to rehome Tia to some one who has more time for her. I have also now been told that Tia does also pee on her clothes from time to time.
She is such a sweet little cat and I feel soooo sorry for her. If I can find any pics of her I will post them for you all to see her pretty little face.
Have had an offer of help to rehome her from a girl on another site. Fingers crossed we can sort something out for her very soon.

Re: Can I have a rant please

Yes, her weight would be a concern to me - but you know what I am like about overweight cats!! Maybe the peeing is cystitis, very common in overweight cats, or maybe she is picking up on your friends resentment and doing it because of that - either way she needs to see a vet. Will check my e-mails to see if I still have the pics you sent me.
Fingers crossed a home can be sorted.

Re: Can I have a rant please

I mentioned the cystitis to her but she still wont take her to the vets. She had a go at me for stating the obvious but she wont DO the obvious things, like take her to the vets, buy her a scratching post etc. So I told her to get a bloody goldfish instead.
Would appreciate it if you can find those pics Des, thanx.
