i'll just give up, think everyone here knows my brain is teeny weeny so can ignore any mistakes i make in future.

put it down to old age or soemthing lol

Thanks for the tip, but will stick with the old one: I miss my little Dandy very much still, & it is sort of nice to know that his name is living in cyberspace; this is sentimental I suppose, but he was my baby when I first went on line 7 years ago & when I was prompted to enter a username on the first site I went on, that is what came to mind...he was a Singapura, and one of the smartest, most outgoing, loving people-friendly cats I have ever lived with. Check out the Singapura breed sometime when you have a minute...Will tell you sometime why he ended up being named Dandy...
