On the topic of songs sticking in your brains..............remember Lily the Pink? Do you? Second or third verse refers to Mr Blears, with sticky out ears (and they made him awful shy-y-y. So they gave him medicinal compound - now he's learning how to fly) Who is the poor politician woman - Hazel Blears? Well, whoever she is, whatever cabinet or similar position she holds, every time she gets a mention on the news OH and I turn to each other and hum - got sticky out ears .....  Mmm, you probably need to be there - but we fall about laughing!  |

That "sticky out ears" thing was hysterical: reminded me of a former boss of mine...we used to say that he looked like a taxi coming down the street with both doors open...  FUNNY!! |
