Re: Eva went mental!!!

My old Ferdy was always a swine to get into the basket. I found the best way was to back him in. Kneel on the floor with knees open and basket between knees. Capture cat and shove him in bum first. That way he couldn't do his usual of splaying his legs out and resisting being put into the basket.

Good luck - your story paints quite a funny picture

Re: Eva went mental!!!

Success!!! I managed to get Eva to the vets today with a minimum of fuss. She was already snoozing in the box when it was about time to leave. So I very quickly and quietly put the door on it. When she awoke I gave her a prawn and off we went. She was a bit stressed out by the car journey and absolutely hated her manicure. At one point she had to be removed from the back of my neck But the vet was very good with her and pretty quick too. Vet said there was alot of cats with upset tummies recently and gave me some more probiotic supplements incase of any more upset. She is a little subdued this evening but did have a little play and cuddle
Winston was also in the vets today for his blood pressure check, which was just fine so he doesnt have to go back until april for another check and his blood tests. Will leave that till after his 21st birthday party though

Re: Eva went mental!!!

This morning I have been busy clip. clip, clipping away LOL
Got Winstons done with very little fuss as usual, he is such a good boy And with Grahams help managed to get 3 out of 4 paws done on Bernie, he began to stress a bit so I decided to leave the last one for a bit and let him settle again.
Eva is behaving a wee bit like Samson after having his hair cut off LOL and cannt understand why her claws dont have the same impact nowLOL
