Re: barnabys in the dog house

Hope your problem with Barnaby gets sorted either way BM. It must be stressful for everyone concerned, but agree with Yola that there may be a health issue for Barnaby with his peeing.

Re: barnabys in the dog house

ive just had to go out, now the cat was on his own for no more than 1/2 hour, when i got home there was a strong smell again, ive checked the litter box hes done 2 poos (uncovered) and then ive found he peed in my dustpan n brush, so hes gone in the litter tray and done his biz, then gone a peed somewhere else?? i cant do this any more, my whole flat smells, ive scrubbed n cleaned, spent a fortune on air freshners of all sorts. its not fair on the other 2, im getting stressed which i shouldnt do cause of my heart . hes eating well and drinking no more than normal. just cant do it anymore, ill end up resenting him. im looking at a prospective home 2morrow,she sounds like a nice girl. he will be an only cat.loads of fuss which he wants,100% attention and spoilt rotton. what else can i do.

You can only do the right thing Cathy. Hope the prospective new home works out. If not, I'm sure the breed rescue would help.

BM - it must be such a difficult decision to make. You're being very brave - I hope it all works out for Barnaby - I do hope he'll be as happy as he possibly can be in his new home.

Best of luck, BM. It's a hard decision to have to make, but hopefully everyone will end up happier - even Barnaby himself.

Re: barnabys in the dog house

Hope all goes well for Barnaby BM. Have you considered the possibility of there being a medical reason behind Barnaby's problems?
