Re: Ronan for CJ

Thanks everyone. He was really special. Ronan was the only kitten Tilly had in her last litter before being spayed. Tilly does not cope well with only one baby to care for she gets bored. If she has 4 or 5 like she usual does then she is a brilliant mother but with Ronan she kept wanting to leave him, wouldn't settle to feed him so had to be shut in the pen and then in her desperation to get out and downstairs she picked him up and bit his neck when he was about 3 weeks old. It was a really nasty bite and he had to have it bathed every three hours and given antibiotics. I didn't want to put him back with Tilly so Leila, who also had a litter, fostered him along with some hand rearing from me. He has now grown into a lovely big boy.

I am forever looking up names and the meanings so I can pick one that suits. I shouldn't really name them if I am not keeping them but I can't call them kitten1 etc. The people that have got Ronan kept his name and that of the other kitten they got with him. That was Emlyn the Gremlin cause he looked just like a Gremlin when he was little. I will add a pic of him on a new thread in a bit.
