I sometimes study Tizzie-Beth to make sure I really can see her flanks rising and falling as she sleeps - and sleeps, and sleeps and.........

She is looking very settled on your chair bless her
Yep I do that, same as you and DM its another "consideration with older cat" the other day I was vac'ing the stairs and she was asleep she hates the vacum - and normaly stalks off in a huff but she slept straight through it I left the vacum and nudged her and she stalked off but I have to say a few times lately I have laid my hand on her as she's slept to assure myself she's still breathing - try not to do it much you can get paranoid but it doesn't stop me - I sometimes wonder if she does stop breathing and my touching her starts her off again though

Lovely photos of Cleo. Such a gorgeous girl. Can understand you worrying when she is sleeping.

Funny how you do that (putting a hand on them to make sure they're still breathing) with babies, too... Kind of like life coming full circle, isn't it?

(And Kazz I know what you mean about getting paranoid, I had to make myself leave my son sleeping in peace when he was smaller, just to keep myself from going off me rocker... The former worked, the latter... Clearly not so much )
