To be honest Emma I usually run my laptop from the mains anyhow. I rarely rely on the battery except when I move it to the printer ( I am thinking of going wireless with this too) |

I have wireless and it's fab being able to sit on the comfort of my own sofa and surf - bliss. I do find that the signal drops out an awful lot if the laptop isn't plugged into the mains tho', grrr |

LMC my signal seems to be fine even when using the battery, athough the battery does seem to go down fairly quicky (about 3 hours) and when it goes it just goes lol |

My battery only lasts about one hour so I am always on the mains. LMC I have bought an aerial booster for the wireless network for my daughter's pc and this has helped the signal dramatically!! |

Wireless is great, I might understand it more if my OH didn't make it so complicated though!! OH was a bit ambitious with our network though, our neighbours three doors away can pick up the signal (but not use it because it is encrypted)!! |
