Kids are off school today cos of this Unison strike

They've been as good as gold today, playing and watching telly. Hven't heared a peep out of them until about 30seconds ago when Louise jumped in Thomas' seat and he got the hump

It's very wet and very windy here so no going into town today with the kids as planned

Just done some shopping - got the catflap, the tobacco needed to get through the week, and frozen lasagna for dinner (lazy me - but my knee's giving out and I can barely walk

). Need to do more shopping tomorrow, but really didn't want to go through it today!

It's half-term at nursery so this week (and last) we've been paying for his sessions and he's only been going 3 afternoons rather than the usual 5, so small child is finally under someone else's supervision again.

I couldn't love him more, but sometimes I really want to do grown-up things... So I'm playing music really loudly

Will be doing bits and pieces for work and trying to find the time to work on the make-your-own-soft-toy-kitty tutorial!

Afternoon everyone,

Lovely sunny day and quite warm, although there have been a few showers today.

Quite a nice day although I was at work - got a few surprise birthday presents from the boys - which was really nice of them.

Going out tonight for a few drinks to celebrate another year!
