Thanks everyone, I am very proud to be mum to all my lovely boys! Idiopathic cystitis is a problem fairly common in young male cats in multi cat households... cystitis-type symptoms of unknown origin. Basically, if a male cat has recurrent urinary problems for no reason, when infection, bacteria, disease and crystals have been ruled out, it is collectively known as idiopathic cystitis. No cause can be found for Theo's problem, but it seems to be kept at bay with Cystaid. |
