Re: Daily thread Friday

Afternoon all,

Am about to strike out to get my son to nursery, then it's work work work. Thank goodness I can do that from home, since my left hip appears to have given out last night when I rolled over in bed clumsily Not looking forward to the walk to nursery and back, but Matt went to bed very late last night and is still asleep as a result (though we did finally get to spend some quality time together, which was very nice and worth missing sleep over for both of us ).

Need to go now, talk to you all later

Re: Daily thread Friday

Fran - how did Baillie do with the prospective adopters? Sorry if you posted before but I didn't see anything.

I've had a great session gardening. Dug over a bit of rough ground (used to have a d*ng heap there ) and planted in some strawberries. Hope it will make them grow big and sweet! Did a bit of prcking out in the tunnel. Things are growing so fast in there - I have a daily supply of salad leaves and baby beet leaves, tiny but tasty spring onions, coriander and radish. The strawberries I put in there to force along have flowers and tiny fruit. oooh yum!

The air is much warmer today - not a breath of wind.

Re: Daily thread Friday

Nice long weekend for you Angel!
It's a bit quiet here at this time - people make silly excuses about housework, collecting kids, cooking etc! It will get busier towards 5 and then lots of chatter in the evening.

Re: Daily thread Friday

Afternoon/Evening!!

Came home to another bombsite, but a few more bits done in the kitchen. The electric fuseboards now needs replacing and sockets moved (didnt think about that) so trying to get quotes for an electrician!! More money!! But did get my last months mortgage money refunded as I have changed lenders so that was a blessing!!

Quiet evening in - and some tidying up!!
